The Renewing the Heart Ministries team is a group of experienced, Biblically-sound Christian women sold out on the Vision to draw women closer to the heart of God. As experienced leaders in ministry, we are well aware of the challenges in church ministry today with less resources, less time and less staff.
That does not discourage us.
Instead it motivates us even more to come alongside the church and its women to provide teaching, resources, and training in the Word of God. We look forward to meeting and working with every one of you.
Kelley grew up in church and almost missed knowing Jesus. Now she has a passion to help others encounter the Savior she loves, experience His transforming grace, and live the miraculous power of His Word. (Read more about our partnership with Kelley.)
Challenged to lead by example, Kelley teaches scripture with authenticity and transparency. Her weekly teaching blog, “Kelley’s Word on Wednesday,” (www.KelleyLattaMinistries.org) encourages believers to live their faith and follow Jesus wholeheartedly. She also shares practical truth through her new national short feature radio program, Live Empowered with Kelley Latta. Kelley is a popular choice for retreats and women’s events.
Kelley has written two books. Tested by Fire, a four-week Bible study, guides readers into scripture to discover their God-given purpose. Her 40-day devotional, Conversations with God: 40 days of Intimate Reflection, teaches how to reflect on God’s Word and respond to His voice.
Kelley joyfully shares her own faith adventure with her husband, Steve, and two teenage sons in Hanover, PA. When not writing or teaching, she can be found at the soccer fields watching her boys play or loving on their Australian Shepherd.
Deanna is the Curriculum Supervisor for Social & Emotional Learning at the Milton Hershey School (a boarding school for needy children located in Hershey, PA). She is also a conference speaker and workshop leader for children and adults. Prior to writing curriculum, she and her husband, Andy, were full-time houseparents at the school for 14 years, helping to raise 100 middle and high school age boys.
As much as Deanna loves to write, she is especially passionate about her relationship with God and speaks from her trials, hurts and successes, knowing that in those moments God has drawn very near to listen to and be present with her. Deanna’s transparency and encouragement keep conference attendees and workshop participants wanting to learn more and grow deeper in their faith. Deanna’s passion for God’s word has allowed her to teach in home Bible Studies and record DVD studies for women.
Deanna holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology from Temple University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Radio, TV & Film from Messiah College. Deanna was fortunate enough to be a student at the Milton Hershey School–from 8th-12th grade and graduated in 1991.
Deanna is the author of a memoir titled Faith’s Pursuit: Understanding God’s Faithfulness in Suffering and The House That Chocolate Built: Parenting at the Sweetest School on Earth, a story about her family’s career while house parenting at Milton Hershey. Deanna also appears on the Genesis of Woman Bible Study series and the Harvest Television Show that aired on July 6. Deanna lives with her husband, Andy and their two children, Korri and AJ, in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
Tess met Jesus Christ when she was six years old. Although she was raised in a Christian home and in church every time the doors were open, it was not until she went to the other side of the world as a missionary that she began to realize just how intimately God knows and loves her.
It is Tess’s passion to encourage and equip women to know, love, and follow Jesus Christ, to live out His Word in their homes, workplaces, churches, and communities, and to lead others to do the same. It is her prayer that others like her would experience life abundant and full of joy as they too walk with Jesus.
Tess and her husband were missionaries in Indonesia for 10 years. While there she enjoyed ministering to national neighbor women, teaching elementary school art, and serving as an admin assistant. Back home in her local church she has served with joy in children’s ministry, as part of the worship team, in ministry to women, and on staff in various administrative roles.
Tess’s husband Ron has been her best friend and adventure partner for over 30 years. She gets to be mom to five creative individuals, mother-in-law to three sons-in-law, and Grammy to two cuties and one on the way. She is an artist, an herb gardener, and a life-long learner.
